ART IN THE COUNTRY INN NEUKRUG

The operators of LANDGASTHOF NEUKRUG wrote on 25 April 2024:

“On Friday, April 26, 2024 at 11.00 o’clock we celebrate the opening of the art gallery in the rooms of the Landgasthof Neukrug and would like to invite you!

In cooperation with the association KUNST für ANGELN e.V., we present together with curator Ingrid Roosen-Trinks an exhibition with new works by the artist Stephen Craig.
Craig has been living 30 minutes west of Maasbüll in North Friesland for 10 years and will also be there. The landscape and especially the light of the north characterize his new works.

Art sends each of us on a journey of discovery and art & culture always means an enrichment of our life in many aspects, whether visual, acoustic or culinary. Together with Ingrid Roosen-Trinks from Kunst für Angeln e.V., we thought about how you can enjoy cuisine with contemporary art together. Because if you get art served on the plate, you should also be able to discover art on the walls.

We would like to show works of art that thematically approach our nature concept, which come from artists from the region and may also be purchased by our art-interested guests.

The association KUNST FÜR ANGELN e.V., was our ideal partner to implement such a cooperation. Therefore, we are particularly pleased that Ingrid Roosen-Trinks offered to provide loans from her private collection. In addition, she will enrich these loans with new works of art by artists from the border region and conceive exhibitions with us as a curator.”
